agency (see our directory) and have a VTR. Of course you could get discovered without going to an
agency, but if you don't want to wait any longer for your big break, make things happen and go to
your modeling agency of preference. Once they like your "look", they'll keep a portfolio of your
photos and your VTR. The modeling agency then shows its portfolio of talents and models to its
clients (or the clients would approach an agency when they have a project) and the client would
leaf through the portfolio of faces and bodies, go through VTR's until finally they see the right model
with the right look for their project.
That's the traditional method of getting modelling projects done. It takes time, but some still see it

How it works
That first step in getting the exposure you need in becoming a model is easy with
ModelManila.com. Here's how it works:
1. Fill out the online application form, be sure not to miss out on any field.
2. E-mail your photos, at least 2 close up head shots and 3 body shots, to
model@modelmanila.com
(Preferably in .jpg or .gif format). Put your full name as the subject head.
3. If your photos and all the fields in your online application form are complete, you'll have your
online portfolio up on our site in 3 working days*
4. Registered talent searchers would be able to view your online portfolio and should they wish to
hire you for a project, they'll simply click on the "Select" or "Book this Model" link on your online
portfolio, log-in using their ID/password and have access to your contact details. For models
without representation, they'll be contacting the model directly. For models with representation,
they'll be contacting the model's representative/agency.
